About Doqly

Why Doqly exists

Businesses receive hundreds of invoices a month by email. Tools that automate reading them — Dext, Rossum, Docsumo — work well, but send those tax documents to the cloud of a foreign AI provider, almost always in the United States. For a Spanish business, that's not a technical detail: it's a compliance problem.

Doqly solves the same task — extracting and validating an invoice's data — with an AI that runs on our own infrastructure inside the European Union. No document leaves European territory to be read: from start to finish, the whole process happens in the EU.

Who it's for

Businesses and freelancers

They process a volume of invoices received from suppliers, export to their accounting software, and — from phase 2 — can issue their own invoices with VeriFactu compliance.

Individuals

They just want the AI to explain and organise their own invoices — fuel, utilities, shopping. They don't issue invoices or hold a tax entity.

Who's behind it

Doqly isn't built by a team — it's built by Iván Montalvo, a junior developer in Madrid specialising in backend, mobile apps and process automation. This project comes from that same idea: automating a real process (invoice validation) end to end.

Our privacy stance

It's not just marketing copy — it shows in every provider we choose:

  • The AI reading your invoices runs on our own infrastructure inside the EU — not on OpenAI's, Anthropic's or similar clouds.
  • Transactional email is sent by a European provider, with no data transfer to the US and no exposure to the Cloud Act.
  • The human contact mailbox uses an encrypted email service based in Europe.
  • No third-party analytics or Google resources loaded at runtime.
